Food Diary See How You Eat App app good for
It is so easy to use this app: just snap a picture of your meal, add a note or two if you wish, and then you can look back at the end of the day, or the end of the week, and see all your meals and all your snacks. If I forget to snap a picture of the meal itself, I just go online and grab a picture of the same item. It beats typing in each item, so much quicker and easier.
Great little app which is so easy to use. Only been using for one week, and Im already eating better! Taking a picture is easier than writing it down, plus it makes you realize how much and what youre putting into your body. Would have liked to give 5 stars but I dont like that it only tracks one week until you spend $ to purchase 28 days worth of saving your food diary. Wish it would save your food diary without a time limitation.
I love it simply because it makes me more mindful of what Im eating
I like how simple it is to use. Everything you ate that day is all on one page without flipping pages around. Sometimes I forget to record it, but it still lets you post pictures, and the time and comments are editable as well. However, it freezes and crashes very often and the tiles get messed up at the same time. It does the job for the most part but its frustrating experiencing this glitch every other day.
Good for referencing what you ate in order to balance out your diet. App has helped me to ensure Im eating enough in a day because of the snack reminders.
App has a few glitches but overall good.
Really like the simplicity and visual aspect. Allows you to take pictures or just write a brief summary. Either way it makes you think about the food you eat which is helpful. Would suggest they add a daily summary section so you can capture overall comments or maybe track your weight or measurements.
Some bad moments
Concept is great, but app needs work. Picture box is super small and not great quality. Images dont always save, the box will just turn green. Tried to add a picture to dinner, which worked, but then my breakfast was also beside it?
I downloaded this app to get a better idea of how much food my son was eating for his dietitian. I recorded one day and then kind of scroll through to see what was there, it said to get four weeks worth of food recordings you would have to pay for an upgrade. You could retroactively add what you ate the week prior but when youre supposed to take pictures of your food its hard to go back in time. When I went back to todays food it was got all the pictures and all the notes were gone the whole day didnt exist! And theres no way to find it. Unless you arty know what you eat how much is being eaten and that you already make good choices than this app is really not gonna help you maybe if you paid for the full upgrade of mind.
Used it for one day and it froze a picture over the entire app screen. Closed it out multiple times and it never went away so now this app is deleted >_>
The app does exactly what I wanted, provides a log of what you eat. However, after a week you realize that you lose access to days more than 7 days old, unless you pay $. The free app was misleading, at least for me.
I had it maybe an hour, I recorded my breakfast and then I went to record my snack, and when I went back to view it, both pictures were gone, I hit one of the arrows that goes through the days to see if maybe it was on a different day and every time I did, the app wants me to buy 3.99 to have a month of the diary, it was super annoying! This app needs improvements!
I tried the app for a week and decided to buy it after a week. You can not use the app for free anyway after one week. It kept track of my meals for 3 days, then on the 4, it lost all my pictures. Do not buy it, it is not worth it.
