After using myfitnesspal for years, I decided to move away from obsessive calorie/macro counting to a more generalized means of looking at my eating habits. This app is for people who have a general idea of what it means to eat healthfully and want to track their food intake in a more normalized fashion. This app has been a game changer for me. I am sent a reminder to eat throughout the day so I dont end up ravenous and make unhealthy decisions. Right before I eat, I upload a picture of my meal/snack, which helps me to visualize my portion size. After the day is over I get a great visual of my food choices and can alter it, accordingly. Also, the app provides you with a motivating lesson or tip everyday, which I happen to love. If youre looking to move away from the unhealthy obsession with numbers, this app is for you!
